Todays lunch is pumpkin paratha, chutney and fruits(strawberry, grapes and pear).
I tried pumpkin paratha for the first time today. Was very tempted by it when I saw the pictures in Madhuli’s blog.

This is the first time I am visiting your site. Very neat site.
I am new comer to this part of web world.

Shilpa,
I too am keen on trying out the Pumpkin Paratha by Madhuli. Maybe I’ll do it once back in Pune. 🙂
hi shilpa,parathas look great!!
I guess we can also try this using butter nut squash. Good recipe as some veg always remain, when it is cooking for just two.
I was interested in cooking mangloorean dishes and this website has come out well in that. I really appreciate the efforts put in by you Shilpa. You cover all types of cooking and very detailed.
Best of luck.
Can anyone give me the recipe for pumpkin paratha. I am unable to access the blog.
Shilpa: Rashmi, since the recipe is copyrighted, I cannot reproduce it here. Please click the link and I checked it works.
Hi,
I am wondering if boiled pumpkin can be mashed and kneaded into the wheat flour. Will it have the same effect on the paratha or create something different.
Cheers.
yes, you can use boiled pumpkin
