hi Shilpa,

I am an amateur dosa cook..which means that though I know how to prepare the batter, I really cant fry it properly. I did go through your cooking tips but this topic isnt addressed.

from what I analysed bout my dosa making ventures, if I try to make the dosa thinner it would tear up while spreading or flipping it over. either the skillet temperature isnt right or I am not spreading out the batter right. could you please, please add tips on how to fry a good dosa without ripping up the dosa, for newbies like me?

Dear Shilpa,

thank you for a lovely website. I already made a number of your recipes- they always come out very good!
Wanted to ask you- with the previous design of your site you had a group of recipes that were named something like “My must have dishes from home”. There were a few recipes I wanted to try and I am not seeing it at this time. Could you tell me if you just don’t have that group any more or I am just not seeing something that is right in front of me
