Hi, I recently tried this dish made with kala vatana and tendli, someone told me it is a famous mangalorean dish and it was delicious. It also has coconut in it. I don't know what its called and I am trying to find the recipe and I am having no luck at all. Does anyone know what the dish is called or anyone has the recipe for it? They told me sometimes tendli's are not added and its only made with kala vatana and coconut. Would appreciate it if anyone has the recipe if you would please email me the same.
Thanks.

hi Shilpa,

I am an amateur dosa cook..which means that though I know how to prepare the batter, I really cant fry it properly. I did go through your cooking tips but this topic isnt addressed.

from what I analysed bout my dosa making ventures, if I try to make the dosa thinner it would tear up while spreading or flipping it over. either the skillet temperature isnt right or I am not spreading out the batter right. could you please, please add tips on how to fry a good dosa without ripping up the dosa, for newbies like me?

thanx a lot.
