Banana Dosa (Kele poLe)

These are thick sweet dosas with aromatic cardamom.
Ingredients
  • 1 cup dosa/idli rice
  • ½ cup coconut
  • ¼ cup poha
  • ½ cup jaggery
  • 3-4 cardamom pods
  • A pinch turmeric
  • 1 cup overripe banana (about ½ cup mashed)
  • Salt
  • Oil
Instructions
  1. Soak rice in water for 2-3hrs.
  2. Peel cardamom.
  3. Grind all ingredients together (except oil).
  4. Keep it overnight for fermentation.
  5. Next day, make thick dosas.
  6. Serve hot with coconut chutney or dry peanut chutney.
