Wish you all a very happy and prosperous new year.

Here is a cake that I created today. Why this theme? Well, I wanted to create the famous Harbor bridge-Opera house in Sydney, with all the fireworks. Its my husband’s favorite place in the world(after India). He saw the new year celebrations there in 2004 and he is crazy about it. He still remembers each and every bit of it. So I wanted to have that on a cake (may be not a great idea). As I started, I felt it was extremely difficult to create such an effect on cake. But I think finally it turned out to be a decent cake .

The happiest moments of 2007 for me was when my parents were here with us and we traveled with them. I will always remember 2007 for this. Career wise also this year was good because we both got the work which we always wanted to do. I could work on many of my passions – cake decorating, crocheting, paper quilling, painting etc. I hope I will be able to continue them.
