For Art Lovers…

11.26.2007 · Posted in Uncategorized

This post was due for a long time now. Some of you might think what this post is doing on a food blog?. But since many of my readers are also art lovers, I thought they might be interested in this.

Few of you already know that we are taking painting lessons for last few months. I had also mentioned about our tutor Keith Adams. He is a very sweet and very helpful teacher with an amazing art. During last few months, we came to know more and more about this person and as we learned more, we came to know that due to some reasons, he had to close down his studio. So we thought we would go to his studio and have a look at the studio.

The studio was not in a great condition, with so many different artifacts piled up all over. But then Keith showed us the stacks of paintings in every corner and shelf. The paintings were so beautiful. It was any art lover’s heaven.

Here is a link to few of his paintings www.keithadams.techenvelope.com. Have a look. All these paintings are for sale. If you like any of them you could even buy them, also thus helping Keith.

  9. Shilpa, all the paintings have a dream like quality about them…I used to paint earlier (of course, not as good as this:-))…seeing those paintings have sort of stirred a kind of longing to hold the brush again (sigh)

  10. Wonderful painting….as you mention you are correct…they are many art lovers…i’m one among them…you are rocking Shilpa.

  11. I like this painting; it makes me wonder if she is jealous that the man is talking to another lady; maybe it is her husband and he is having a secret affair. Or maybe she doesn’t know the two figures at all and she hopes that someday she will be in love. But the snow is falling and she hasn’t yet opened her parasol…so maybe she is overcome with emotions so much that she doesn’t notice the snow.

Mr. Adams seems like a very sensitive person to have said so much in this one image!

Shilpa: Wow!!!…I didn’t know you have such an sensitive eye for paintings Pel. Amazing…I am impressed

  12. What a beautiful painting. Will definitely check out the link.
