a simple one always done by my mom. first she fried some onion and soak it in milk.
this kept away the smell of onion. then grind it into fine paste. first put some ghee and oil and fry the cardomom, cloves, and lavang, and ginger garlic paste and then the onion paste. add some tomato puree
and fried it well.then add some finely chopped and boiled vegetable in it.(carrot, peas
and cauliflower). after 5 minutes add the paste of 5-10 cashews, badam and a pinch of
nutmeg powder finely ground and after that add salt, chilly powder and turmeric powder.
add some milk or coconut milk and allow it to boil. take some ghee in a kadai and saute finely chopped pineapples, cherries, and green seedless grapes and kismis and papaya.if u are interested in fruits then add sweet lime also. mix it in the kurma.
garnish with raisins.

Hey Shilpa...

Thanks a ton for another fantastic recipe. I made this last weekend with a small change. I omitted the dry fruits and pineapple and added cream to the korma just before getting it off the stove. It was the BEST korma i've ever made and my family enjoyed it a LOT. Thanks again!

Warm Regards,
Meera

Rochin, Savita, you are right. This needs to be sweetish with addition of fruits. Somehow the recipe I had (originally from a famous cookbook, didn't involve them). But when I read your comments, I searched the internet. So I have updated the post. Thanks a lot for letting me know. I greatly appreciate it :).
