Hi Shilpa,
2 days back I had this dish in my office canteen and liked it so much that I wanted to make it at home. Today while searching in google, came accross this site and your recipe. I liked the site instantly and the recipe looks delicious. Now waiting to cook it at home to impress my mom-in-law ;-)
Thanks a lot for all the efforts! Will surely post some recipe (if it is not already on the site) soon.
Thanks again!!!

how do you cook the pineapple? For how long? Can it be cooked and stored for a couple of days?

Shilpa: Cook in water for about 5mins.

Hi Shilpa,
I came to kno abt pineapple sheera only frm ur site..Indeed a creative n different recipie..I hd read it in ur blog many days back n was on my mind....Nw that i hav som fresh pineapple at hand, i want to giv ths a try rgt away..!!..Had a query....Can i cook d pineapple pieces in microwave with lil water (for abt 5 min or so) as i do for som veggies..?..or it shd b cooked on stovetop..Pls lemme kno abt same..as iv never cooked pineapple pieces erlier so dnt kno mch..
Thnks again for the lovely recipie :-)

Meenal.

Shilpa: You can do any way Meenal. But I prefer cooking on stove top because the sweetness of the pineapple remains in the pan after they are cooked.
