I was trying to search for this recipe as i was expecting some guests who liked it
But i added coconut with the masala powder and then added it to the dish and it was equally nice and had a thick gravy (SIDE DISH)

Hi Shilpa,
Many thanks for putting out this kairas recipe. I tried it yesterday. Me n the hubby enjoyed it very much.

The recipe asks to add very little water if required. I found that the recipe did consume quite a wholesome amount of water till the potatoes and capsicum were done.Since the ground paste was added earlier, it baceame slightly dilute in taste.So the next time around i’d probably cook those first and then add the masala and let it stay for a while after.

its great. u know i feel so easy to cook food now. i was looking for capsicum dishes i tried it and it tasted really yummy… hmmmmmm

Hi Shilpa,

I tried this recipe out last weekend at my first “dinner party.” Our guests just loved it, and I sent them home with both leftovers and a copy of the recipe. The sweet and sour combination was just outstanding.

I can’t wait to try it again (I’m glad I made twice the amount of powder the first time, so it’ll be easy to whip up again!). The only thing I changed was to use cauliflower instead of potatoes–turned out great! Do give it a try if you’re looking for a change (or don’t have potatoes on hand).

Vaishali, I will give you a great idea. Write the names on two different sheets of paper. Close eyes and select one. Whichever you got, try that recipe ). Just kidding…..

Shilpa, this happens on screen rez that is wider than 1024px. You’re using absolute positioning for your right bar which leads to this problem on wider monitors. Use relative positioning (or a right float) and add a float to class “post” and then play with the margins till it all fits into place. Use browsercam.com to check out what your site looks like in various browsers at different resolutions.
