Hi Shilpa,
Tried this recipe yesterday. It came out really good.
Could you pls tell me how to check if chicken is completely cooked.I felt my chicken was cooked fully when I ate it but there was little raw smell which wouldn't go off.Could you tell me what I could do for that?
Thanks..

Shilpa: To remove any unwanted smell of chicken, some people add turmeric to it and leave aside for sometime.
The chicken turns white in color after it is cooked. So if you see any transparent/pinkish portions on it, that means it is not cooked. I usually cut one piece with the spoon and if it breaks easily, that means it is cooked.

Thanks for the reply Shilpa.
That's absolutely right about the onions they are much smaller out there and I sure will give the chicken recipe another shot . I should say though the chattambade I tried out was awesome and thanks for posting your recipes for people who love to try different homemade delicacies. I am glad to have come across your site.

Coold, if you observe properly, you can find onions in the picture. I had cut them into very small pieces and fried them well. I did not add tomato paste. It had turned out great, I don't know what went wrong when you tried it.

About onion bajji, the recipe was written when I was in India. I was not having the idea of onions in US. there the onions are quite small compared to the ones here. In my recent posts, I try my best to give the measurements in cups.
