Hi Shilpa,

Just now, i made your konkani sambar, its good and tasty, tasting different from my regular chennai sambar. I tried your tips on making chapati that also become successful.

I have one personal question to you or other readers, what is the difference between Vinayaka Chaturti and Sankashti. I keep fasting on Sankasti every month, today is vinayaka chaturti and i kept fasting. Whether, i must keep full day fasting or half day and whether i must have food after seeing moon. I am a south indian and i dont know much about it. Do reply.

Bye

Shilpa: Renuka, I am sorry, I am not aware of details of fasting rituals.
