Cauliflower have less water in them, so add say 3/4 cup, initially, cook on simmer for 10 mins with lid covered, check again and add little more water accordingly till the cauliflower becomes tender... the whole cooking should not take more than 20 mins. Cauliflower is better when eaten little dry i.e. moist with water...loose its appealing taste when it is with more water... in short, add limited & calibrated water enough to tender cauliflower.

I cook regularly and comes good. You can add Green Peas alongwith cauliflower to improve the yummy taste....

Note: better avoid cooking tomatoes with cauliflower...

If you add more or excess Coriander, your lips would go burst due its HOTness... like excess chilli burns one's tongue.... so be careful in adding coriander in any vegetable.

How much water to put? Quantity not mentioned.
please let me know, for above mentioned quantity of cauliflower what proportion of water is needed. And for frozen cauliflower, will the process will change? or remain same.

waiting for your reply

Thanks

Shilpa: About 1/2 cup of water should be enough. Usually frozen vegetables cook much faster. So reduce the amount of water and cook on a medium flame. Keep checking every 5 mins or so to see if it has cooked.

Thanks for your comment. As I said in my introduction, I learn them from my mother(aayi), TV shows, Magazines etc etc. Because of my love towards cooking, I keep trying new things :).
Please suggest some recipe names which you would like to read. If I know, I will surely put them.
